With diameter of 6-16 inches, and thickness of 4-12.7 mm, Electric resistance welded (ERW) pipes are used for transferring oil, gas and petrochemical products with the highest quality and the state of art technology in equipment and using experienced personnel based on API 5L PSL2, ISP and also IGS standards with different grades of steel (according to the consumers’ demand) up to grade X70.
Steel Pipe Production Line using Spiral Method
Two steel pipe production lines using spiral method with (automatic) submerged-arc welding process, have the capacity to produce steel pipes with diameters 14 inches (350mm) to 32 inches (810mm) and thickness of 4 to 10 mm with different grades (according to consumers’ demand) and since this company possesses the equipment and facilities required for quality control process, it has the capability of manufacturing products in accordance with standards such as ASTM, AWWA C-200 and DIN.
Hollow structural section (HSS) is a type of metal profile with hollow tubular cross section. HSS is a tubular section produced by the use of cold form method. These sections can be square, rectangular and circular; and the top standards for producing these sections are ASTM A500 and DIN-EN10219; these two standards can be used as a certificate for producing HSS sections.
